Perfect rendition of your above average ethnic market. Lots of Saturday energy with customers. First-time visit, found fresh hot salsa and in-house pico and grabbed it, very tasty for a family dinner later in day. Saw a group of workmen grabbing lunch and a large tub of taco meat being sold. Friendly help for this gringo! Enjoyed my visit and purchase!
All I purchased was meat and it was legit! I purchased several pounds of marinated meat but they had non marinated as well. Meat was so good! I'll definitely be going back for meat in the near future. But it seemed like a fairly traditional Mexican market with a meat section and even a little restaurant. If I had know about the restaurant I probably would have come earlier and grabbed a bite before all the other shopping I was doing for grilling. Service seemed ok. I was with a Brazilian who spoke a little Spanish so we were fine. Otherwise I'd say pointing and number should be fine for the meat section. It seemed poorly organized and I wanted to look quickly before checking out but decided to just come back another day when I had more time.
Place is legit . Staff is friendly . Reminds me of every Mexican taqueria I have ever encountered. Found many little treats that I had not found anywhere else. Great little find !
Being a Mexican household in Fort Lauderdale makes it very difficult to find good places that supply food and ingredients that we can't find in your local Publix (Hispanic sections) this place brings us back home.
